Kodak Retina I BS
21/01/2024
Uses 35mm film and has an FD lens mount.
This is the main workhorse in my film camera collection. It’s has a sturdy build and is easy to use. For example my favourite feature of it is the rangefinder – which is a split circle in the center of the viewfinder that is blurry until you focus properly into that spot. Also is has an exposure needle and a shutterspeed scale right on the viewfinder, which simplifies the process a lot. So you can’t adjust shutterspeed with this camera – it measures the required speed based on the light that passes into the camera. Definitely recommend this one if you’re looking for a easy-to-use analog camera.
